Dressed To Fail?

I keep hearing rumors of this "cold weather" we're going to be getting. But yesterday's rain just made things straight-up sticktastically humid, so I figured that was a great opp to wear this army green cotton Splendid dress. It definitely has a nice fall feel to it, especially when paired with boots or booties like these nude Rachel Comey's I got at INA on an even reduced-ER price.

  Not-so-flattering straight on!

Not-so-flattering straight on!

I got this dress last year and enjoyed wearing it to several events like a friend's baby shower and my sister's baby show-off party—WAIT...I never noticed that baby theme before. Anyway, all I remember is really liking this dress last year. However when I put it on yesterday I was non-plussed. It wasn't as flattering as I remembered and felt a little short-waisted (my mom's favorite thing to call most clothing).

And the photos were also mixed in their feedback! In some I think I look pretty good, but in others? NERP. What a conundrum! To make matters more difficult, IG comments have been pretty divided too. Help! What do you think I should do?

OutFit or OutFail?:  TBD!
